COVID-19 Updates

July 18th, 2023

As of July 18th, 2023, we have four residents and one staff member who have tested positive for COVID-19. Our staff member will follow CDC guidelines to recover and return to work safely. Our medical director and clinical staff continue to monitor our residents and each other daily.

Per CDC/CMS guidance we conducted an investigation to ensure that we did not have any additional positive cases among our residents or staff. We are pleased to report that no further COVID positive individuals were identified.

At Granger Nursing and Rehab, we want to assure you that we are adhering to infection control practices throughout our facility. We continue to stay in touch with the County Health Department to ensure we are following the most up-to-date policies and procedures to defend against the spread of the virus. Per our current policy, we may accept and admit COVID positive residents to our community. However, this does not require notification, nor does this put our community in outbreak status.

As a reminder, the following defensive measures are in place at our facility:

  • Encouraging social distancing.

  • Practicing frequent hand hygiene in accordance with CDC guidelines.

  • Frequent disinfecting of high-touch surfaces to decrease environmental contamination.

Thank you for your kindness and understanding.

Sincerely,

Leslie Walsh, LNHA
